From the age of 10, I knew I wanted to become a teacher. I was inspired by the educators who made a meaningful impact on my own school experience and knew I wanted to do the same for future students.
Over the years, I dedicated my time to volunteering in my children’s school, building strong connections within the school community. Eventually, I was encouraged to pursue a position there, and I became a paraprofessional at the very school my two children attended.
After spending 10 years in the field of education, I made the decision in 2008 to further my passion by returning to college to earn my Master’s Degree in Education. During my Bachelors and Masters program, I added two more babies to my already busy life. My children have been my biggest supporters for pursuing my dreams.
My goal as an educator is to create a safe, supportive, and inspiring learning environment where every student feels valued and develops a love for learning. Teaching is more than a profession for me—it is my passion. I truly believe in the motto: “Do what you love, and love what you do.”
